Job Duties: We currently have an opening for a Principal Engineers experienced in wireless software development team leadership with an emphasis on Digital Signal Processing (DSP) but also working knowledge of Object-Oriented (OO) techniques. Job Qualifications: Qualified applicants will contribute to the development of Software Defined Radio (SDR) while leading mixed software team of DSP and embedded software engineers at our Clarksburg, Maryland facility. Minimum BSEE degree (MSEE Preferred) and 8 years of design experience including at least 3 years of team leadership. •Experience with radio/wireless software •DSP coding using C and assembly language for algorithm development for audio processing, gain control, and modulation/demodulation (FSK, ASK, PSK, ...) techniques is required. •DSP firmware design and development for real time, embedded processing applications •C++, C and Assembly languages •Object-Oriented, software Design/Development using CAE tools (preferably UML) •Real-Time Operating Systems (preferably VxWorks) for real time, embedded processing applications. •Hands on debugging with PC-based development tools. •U.S. Citizenship.
